What You'll Be Doing + Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures. + Meet daily production goals by understanding and performing all aspects of plant operations. + Perform general plant maintenance and repairs. + Conduct routine plant maintenance including greasing, checking oil levels, and shoveling under conveyors and spillage areas. + Operate equipment including skid loaders, plant truck. + Communicate current job information with contractors and drivers. What Are We Looking For + Basic computer skills. + Solid mechanical skills to perform general maintenance. + Ability to operate plant equipment. + General knowledge of hot mix asphalt business and operation. + Ability to learn basic welding and torch operation. Conditions of Employment + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. + Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
