Staff Product Manager, Growth

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-18
Who we are About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Growth team is responsible for Stripe’s product-led growth motion for our self-serve customers—primarily startups and small-to-medium businesses. Our mission is to acquire, onboard, and grow every business in the world, helping them succeed with one or more of Stripe’s products. We work across the user lifecycle—from signup and onboarding to activation, expansion, and long-term retention. The team operates at the intersection of product, data science, engineering, design, marketing, and AI/ML, with direct accountability for topline self-serve revenue and high-visibility impact across the company.

What you’ll do

As a Staff Product Manager on Growth, you will own Stripe’s self-serve revenue targets and design strategies to accelerate adoption across our product suite. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to build platform capabilities and AI-driven experiences that surface the right product, feature, or price to the right customer at the right time.

This is a highly strategic and hands-on role where you’ll be expected to deeply understand the needs of different customer cohorts, design packaging and pricing that scales, and build core systems that drive product discovery and adoption. You’ll directly influence company outcomes and collaborate closely with Stripe leadership, making this a uniquely high-visibility opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver self-serve revenue targets through product-led growth strategies across the entire user lifecycle.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Stripe’s startup and SMB users, and design packaging, pricing, and growth models tailored to their needs.
  • Partner with engineering, design, data science, AI/ML, and marketing to build core platform components and recommendation systems that improve product discovery and cross-product adoption.
  • Define and track success metrics for growth initiatives, ensuring decisions are informed by data, experimentation, and user insights.
  • Drive alignment across teams and stakeholders, including senior leadership, to execute on high-impact growth initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices in PLG and apply them to Stripe’s growth strategy.
Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • 12+ years of product management experience, with preferred 3+ years working on growth, monetization, or related areas in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong technical background with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes, such as revenue growth or adoption at scale.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, data science, and design to build and ship complex products and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams and leadership levels.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in product-led growth environments at scale (e.g., startups moving upmarket, or SaaS businesses with multiple product lines).
  • Familiarity with pricing and packaging strategy for B2B SaaS products.
  • Background in AI/ML-driven product experiences or data-intensive systems.
  • Comfortable operating in high-visibility roles with direct accountability for company outcomes.
