England Men’s U18 Team Doctor

The England Men's U18 Team Doctor will provide sports medicine services to the England Men's U18s players during training and match camps, and will be responsible for monitoring the fitness of players, providing medical support, and leading on medical planning for training camps and competitions.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree
  • Post-graduate training in Sport and Exercise Medicine (PG Diploma or MSc)
  • Registered with General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practice
  • Current Level 3 Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in Sport Course Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Proof of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) specific to Sport and Exercise Medicine
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office software or Mac packages to store manipulate and present information
  • Excellent personal time management and planning skills in the face of a large workload
  • A proven track record of success and a winning mentality
  • High personal and professional standards that command the respect of players and coaches
  • An excellent motivator of people
  • Capacity to find novel solutions to problems
  • A good team member who can exchange ideas and empathise with others in the team
  • Willingness and ability to take on other team roles when required
  • Strong personal commitment to personal professional development
