Technician-Charleston, SC
STERIS is hiring a Technician to work as a Repair Technician in a field-based setting. The role involves performing surgical instrument inspection, repair, and refurbishment. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. The Technician will work out of mobile repair trucks and regional labs, delivering superior customer experience by providing timely and quality repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds and push instrument carts ranging from 10-150 pounds
- Ability to meet flexible schedules with early/late hours and sometimes outside normal business hours
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old with ability to achieve and maintain FMCSA and driver’s license requirements
