Summary: Plan, organize, direct, control, coordinate, supervise and evaluate all aspects of the within authority of the managing partners by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ability to operate the facility in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the company in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Ability to prepare written policies regarding duties and activities of company departments and staff.
  • Ability to enforce the facility policies and procedures.
  • Safeguards the privacy of Resident’s health information (HIPPA):
  • Uses and discloses protected health information only as authorized.
  • Conducts oral discussions of personal health information with other staff or with Residents and family members in a manner that limits the possibility of inadvertent disclosures.
  • Reports suspected violations of a business associate’s contractual obligations to safeguard protected health information; and
  • Reports suspected violation of the established health information policies and procedures.
  • Administers fiscal operations such as budget planning, accounting, and recommending rates for services.
  • Responsible for managing the recruitment and onboarding process, coordinating employee training programs, and administering disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies (Human Resources).
  • Directs and coordinates activities of nursing, administrative and support staff and services.
  • Represents establishment at community meetings and promotes programs through various news media.
  • Plans, recommends, develops, and assures implementation of in-service education programs as appropriate.
  • Plans work schedules and assigns work to staff to ensure adequate service and coverage for areas of responsibility.
  • Conducts periodic staff meetings to discuss new or modified policies and procedures within each department’s area of responsibility.
  • Plans, prepares, and administers annual department budget.
  • Submits monthly report to the Managing partners.
  • Prepares miscellaneous reports as requested within agreed upon time frame.
  • Researches, selects and recommends equipment and supplies for department.
  • Develops written goals congruent with the strategic plan of the managing partners relating to the performance improvement for areas of responsibility documenting same.
  • Makes recommendations for repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space within areas of responsibilities.
  • Assists areas of responsibility in preparation and maintenance of State and Federal surveys.
  • Assures compliance with regulatory guidelines appropriate for areas of responsibility (i.e., OSHA, State, Federal, etc.).
  • Be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.
  • Always Follows Resident’s Rights policies.
  • Come to work in neat, clean attire and consistently present an appropriate professional appearance.
  • Consistently work cooperatively with residents, resident representatives, staff, physicians, and ancillary service providers.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the managing partners.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited college or university.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and write English, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Math Ability:

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

Ability to operate Microsoft Outlook, Business Office Pro software including: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Operate a variety of clinical specialty software.

Certificates and Licenses:

Licensure in the State of Kansas as an Adult Care Home Administrator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
