Director, Operations Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution: Shaping the Future of Retail Media

We're on the hunt for a seasoned Director, Operations Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution to lead our go-to-market activities across Roundel. This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a retail media expert who can drive business growth, foster cross-functional alignment, and propel our strategic positioning forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of Go-To-Market professionals, cultivating a culture that embodies Target's core values of connection, inclusivity, and drive.
  • Serve as a commercial strategist for Roundel's rapidly growing media business, leveraging your expertise in sales strategy, operations, and digital media to inform our go-to-market approach.
  • Develop and execute core revenue operations processes, including pricing and media deal strategy, resource modeling, channel management, sales activity measurement, and business intelligence gathering.
  • Drive end-to-end process efficiencies through strategic partnerships with senior leaders across Sales, Media Operations, and Performance & Insights.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior leaders across various functions, including Sales, Account Management, Performance & Insights, Product, and Operations, to drive strategy development and activation.
  • Oversee the development of new strategies and partnerships that support our growth objectives, enhance our value proposition, and deepen our strategic positioning in the market.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Strategy & Operations, Digital Media Sales/Account Management, Merchandising, Management Consulting, or equivalent experience in a fast-paced organization.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and synthesize actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving business results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the retail media industry, with a deep understanding of the landscape and key players.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement, leveraging experiences and setbacks to drive professional growth.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a bias for action and a focus on driving business results.
