Job Summary

As a remote data scientist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for applying advanced data science techniques to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy predictive models, analyze complex data sets, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, researchers, software developers, and business leaders to define product requirements and provide analytical support
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through verbal and written reports
• Utilize cloud computing platforms, including Azure and Databricks, to query and analyze large data sets
• Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures
• Apply statistical techniques, including regression, time series analysis, and hypothesis testing
• Work with stakeholders to design and execute A/B experiments and measure their impact

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
• Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with large-scale data sets and developing predictive models
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a STEM field, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
• Experience working with IoT and Edge AI
• Experience with reinforcement learning
• Experience in the healthcare industry
