About this Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing data mapping, data quality management, metadata management, and master data management, as well as conducting in-depth data analysis to inform and progress our current and future data operating models. The Database Developer will play a critical role in shaping our data architecture and ensuring the integrity and quality of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing exception processing and making modifications to handle microservices exceptions
  • Helping design and review data structures to identify subject processors that have been migrated to microservices
  • Helping design RESTful wrappers for subject processes by implementing tests and developing code
  • Refactoring data access layers to use JPA (moving data services to the Java Persistence API (JPA))
  • Refactoring data access layer code to use JPA (annotating and changing CRUD patterns)

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A fully adjudicated Secret security clearance or higher
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle 12c/19c Database environments
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills
  • Experience in developing, refactoring PL/SQL code (Packages, Procedures, and Triggers)
  • Familiarity with backend database code testing and validation
  • Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Backend testing and validation experience
  • Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reporting tools
  • Experience with TSA Architecture Updates and collaborating with the Architect to refine Target State Architecture (TSA)

Work Environment and Company Culture

As a remote/telecommute employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team. We maintain an on-camera policy for all virtual company meetings to foster engagement and collaboration. Reasonable exceptions may be granted with prior approval from Human Resources and/or the applicable manager or client.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,000, commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
