Software Engineer - Techgroup America Inc.
We are seeking a Software Engineer with 3 5 years of experience to join a fast-paced, innovative team working on next-generation automation and AI-driven projects in the healthcare domain. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves problem-solving, and isn't afraid to fail fast and innovate.
You ll be involved in proof of concept (PoC) work, utility/server upgrades, image recognition, and cutting-edge technology integrations involving AutoStore systems, AI, and robotics. If you're passionate about hands-on coding and collaborating closely with business and technical teams to bring transformative ideas to life this is the role for you.
Must-Have Qualifications:
3 5 years of hands-on development experience with:
Experience with or exposure to AutoStore technology and/or image recognition solutions tied to AI
Experience building Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for utility upgrades and server updates
Strong background in creating user stories, technical documentation, and capturing business requirements
Experience working closely with business stakeholders to define concepts and identify opportunities for system/process enhancements
Nice-to-Haves / Plusses:
Experience working in a manufacturing, robotics, or pharmacy automation environment
Background in a start-up environment someone comfortable with ambiguity and "fail-fast" innovation cycles
Prior involvement with cutting-edge or emerging technologies
Soft Skills & Mindset:

Comfortable experimenting, iterating, and learning from failures
Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams
