Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our Aetna Customer Support team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work from home and provide exceptional support to our customers via inbound calls. You will answer questions about pharmacy benefits, medication coverage, and mail-order solutions, and provide solutions to help our customers better understand their coverage and options.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via inbound calls, responding to questions about pharmacy benefits, medication coverage, and mail-order solutions
• Help customers understand their coverage and options, and provide solutions to improve their healthcare experience
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple calls and customers simultaneously
• Utilize your skills and knowledge to resolve customer complaints and issues in a positive and productive manner
• Adhere to HIPAA and regulatory compliance requirements
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, or client care environment
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications and ability to use computer software
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to problem-solve in a positive and productive manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a patient and supportive manner
• Reliability and consistency with scheduling standards
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion, and express confidence and certainty
• Strong customer service skills, including telephone etiquette and professionalism
• Strong oral, written, and relational skills
