About Information Adventures
Information Adventures is a cutting-edge team within Walmart that exists to unlock the full worth of our data by creating and productizing B2B data drives that enable vendors and suppliers to make quicker, better-informed decisions for the business. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in driving data productization from idea to delivery, working closely with our Item Supervisory crew to extend our setup of client-centered items.
Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for spearheading impromptu item examination and building basic data solutions to better understand our Walmart clients. You'll work closely with our Item Supervisory crew to identify and assess new item opportunities and propose adaptable solutions. You'll have access to our vast global data, conducting in-depth analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth. In this role, you'll be part of a larger team, "Information Adventures - Know Your Client," and work closely with our partners in Walmart Worldwide Tech, Data Administration, and other item groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Deeply inspire us if: + You have solid exploratory data analysis skills and the ability to make insightful, data-driven proposals and solutions. + You're knowledgeable about languages used to control data and draw insights from large data collections (SQL, Python, etc.). + You have given end-client support and investigating for Information Quality issues. + You have related knowledge in the retail or finance business areas. + You have Convincing, influential oral and written communication skills and can build strong, functional relationships. + You're comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You'll have an impact by:
+ Cleaning and preparing data for analysis by eliminating errors, identifying exceptions, and transforming data into a format that can be analyzed. + Investigating data and analyzing it for insights using statistical methods to test theories, identify patterns, and make predictions. + Producing programming languages, particularly Python. + Approaching issues logically and making informed decisions based on data. + Ensuring accuracy in data analysis with attention to detail and identifying irregularities or errors in data. + Clearly communicating findings, both written and orally, to non-technical partners. This includes creating dashboards and reports that convey insights to partners using tools like Power BI/Scene/Excel. + Creating solutions for business issues using data-driven approaches. + Collaborating with other developers, designers, and management leaders, understanding their needs, and providing them with significant data insights. + Understanding the ethical implications of data use, storage, and analysis, particularly concerning privacy and security.
