About the Job

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in building our information pipelines and data centers for OpenAI's AI solutions. These pipelines are essential for fueling examinations, well-being frameworks that guide business decisions, product development, and prevent troublemakers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage our data pipelines, ensuring all client event data is consistently integrated into our data warehouse.
• Create sanctioned datasets to track key product metrics, including customer growth, engagement, and revenue.
• Work collaboratively with various teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
• Implement robust and issue-oriented frameworks for data ingestion and processing.
• Participate in data design and architecture decisions, bringing expertise and data to bear.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, like Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3).
• Aptitude with any of ETL schedulers like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of data storage and the ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize data storage code.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
