Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily architectural requirements within the organization, with a focus on Azure
• Design architectural artifacts and manage architectural processes
• Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products
• Focus on the realization of a specific set of technical outcomes, including:
  • Solutions adhere to established patterns, methods, and standards
  • Solutions utilize existing capability to reduce cost/complexity

• Implement network and container security, host, and Azure resource management security
• Configure Azure monitoring and Azure log analysis, manage security alarms, and configure security policies
• Management and configuration of SaaS/ASP applications across various end-client business segments

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• A minimum of 3 years of architectural and design experience
• Hands-on experience with systems architecture in various computing models and environments, with a deep understanding of architectural concepts, issues, and trends
• Knowledge of systems integration practices and understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture principles, practices, and related technologies, such as XML, Soap, REST, and JSON

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out in this role, you will need:

• 3 years of application systems design experience
• Cyber protection and security experience
• Carrier industry experience
• Proficiency in the following technologies:
  • Azure
  • IaC automation (Bicep or Terraform)
  • n-tiered web architecture, relational databases, web development
  • Networking (DNS, SFTP, SMB, TCP/IP OSI model)
• Capability in Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Experience in system design and deployment across hybrid environments (Cloud, On-Prem, and SaaS)
• Direct experience migrating On-Prem applications to Cloud environments
• Hands-on experience setting up systems and CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience in object-oriented design methods and principles
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience with DevSecOps principles
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Big Data Development
