As a Field Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting data collection for all research products, working closely with our team to drive success and growth.

About the Role

As a Field Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for scoping and pricing samples, designing quota structures, monitoring field work, and performing quality assurance (QA) tasks. You will work closely with our Analytics and Data Operations team to ensure seamless data collection and analysis for all research products. This role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities, as well as comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Scoping and pricing samples for research projects

  • Designing quota structures to ensure representative samples
  • Monitoring field work to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Performing QA tasks to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Collaborating with the Analytics and Data Operations team to drive data collection and analysis
  • Providing support for data collection software (Qualtrics, Forsta, Survey Monkey)
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track project progress and outcomes

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Psychology, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field

  • At least 12 months of experience managing field and/or sample design for online data collection in a survey research context
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of survey statistics (sampling theory, hypothesis testing, contingency tables)
  • Familiarity with R or RStudio or similar platforms (Excel, SAS, SPSS) for data analysis
  • Familiarity with survey collection software (Qualtrics, Forsta, Survey Monkey)
  • Familiarity with working with survey data (weighting, cross-tabulation, significance testing)
  • Willingness to take feedback and learn, with an ethos of self-improvement

Essential Skills and Competencies:

* Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with data analysis software (R, RStudio, Excel, SAS, SPSS)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in a related field (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, etc.)

  • Experience working with survey data and analysis software
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience working in a research or analytics environment
