Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team as a remote data entry specialist. As a key member of our Quality Control team, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by analyzing statistical trends and performance metrics to improve our Quality Control division. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
  • Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders
  • Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility
  • Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding
  • Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the necessity of the data requirements
  • Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and errors
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
  • May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas and present written, verbal, or presentation materials to audiences of varying sizes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, being highly desirable
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Past internship experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and the ability to build presentations for verbal communications
  • Past capstone projects and research coursework
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
