EAP Counselor (Employee Assistance Program)

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated EAP Counselor to join our team and provide valuable assistance to our employees through our Employee Assistance Program. As an EAP Counselor, you will play a vital role in promoting employee well-being and providing confidential counseling services. Provide confidential counseling services to employees through the Employee Assistance Program. Promote employee well-being by offering emotional support, guidance, and resources. Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for employees seeking assistance. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and resources to ensure comprehensive care for employees. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of counseling sessions and progress notes. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in regards to confidentiality and informed consent. Stay updated on current mental health practices and techniques to provide the best care to employees. Build a strong rapport and establish a trusting relationship with employees seeking counseling services. Communicate effectively with HR and management to address any concerns or issues regarding employee well-being. Participate in regular team meetings and trainings to improve skills and share knowledge. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement wellness initiatives and programs. Provide guidance and support to HR and management in regards to employee mental health concerns. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Employee Assistance Program. Serve as a positive representative of Aetna and the Employee Assistance Program to employees and outside resources.
