As a Project Finance Analyst - Site Payments you are a key member of the Project Finance Team. You will analyze, coordinate and present critical components vital to Catalyst’s Site Payment service. You will collaborate with Catalyst’s core Site Payment vendors and Development Operations to deliver excellent service, timely payments and world-class internal and external reporting.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing funding requests and recording them in the proper study specific files and verifying if the request has appropriate funding to be approved
  • Cross referencing our accounting software to verify if clients have paid their invoices.
  • Responding to sites that have reached out in order to obtain remittance for payments
  • Help support that standardization of department level metrics and running said metrics at designated intervals
  • Perform revenue reconciliation within the CAIR ERP to drive funding draw down from study advance investigator grants accounts for the purpose of balance sheet confirmations.
  • Creating and maintaining Study accrual files.
  • Creating and maintain Study forecasting files including but not limited to truing up patient visits based on the latest EDC file, confirming with the Project Management team site activation, patient enrollment rates, any study level risk that will drive deviation from assumed enrollment etc.
  • Reaching out to sites that are delinquent in submitting invoices for site payments and prompting them to become current in their billing.
  • Adhoc reconciliations of one or more site’s payments throughout the life of a trial.
  • Adhoc financial models and projections to support team and client need.

Position Qualification Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education required.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in operational/project finance/systems analyst role · Background in Clinical Research is preferred
