Job Overview

We're seeking a highly qualified and experienced Math Tutor to work with high school and middle school students in Hendersonville, TN. As a part-time tutor, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring services that cater to the individual needs of each student. Your expertise in math and teaching will help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring services to high school and middle school students in math and related subjects
• Develop and implement customized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student
• Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student
• Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner
• Follow-up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours
• Prepare session reports for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session
• Utilize basic database and data entry skills to maintain accurate records

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields (preferred)
• Strong understanding of math concepts and teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
• Reliable transportation with current car insurance
• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone

Preferred Qualifications:

• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees
• Experience with basic database and data entry
• Strong administration and organizational skills
• Typing, PC, and recording skills
