Job Overview

We're looking for a dedicated and accomplished Senior Project Manager to spearhead essential engineering projects from conceptualization to delivery. As a Full-Time Contract Worker with a 2-Year Contract and possibility of conversion to a permanent role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed within timelines, budgets, and scopes. Your exceptional leadership and communication skills will foster a positive work atmosphere and drive collective success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead significant engineering projects from initiation to successful delivery, ensuring adherence to timeframes and project scopes.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to establish project objectives, parameters, and deliverables.
  • Assess project progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary modifications to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Conduct meetings, provide regular status updates to team members, and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders.
  • Guarantee project completion within budgetary constraints and defined scopes, leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and sponsors to ensure project success.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or technical context, with a proven record of leading successful projects.
  • A solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Jira).
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in stakeholder management and team leadership.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management) is preferred.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the profession.
