Job Outline and Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist - Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes by applying data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to complex business problems. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques
• Continuously developing and demonstrating advanced analytics methodologies to drive business growth
• Working with large datasets to extract insights and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Identifying business problems and determining the most effective analytics and modeling techniques to apply
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research
• At least 2+ years of experience in modeling/machine learning
• Strong knowledge of either R or Python programming languages
• Experience working with large datasets and performing predictive modeling
• Proficiency in using database querying tools and writing complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL or Microsoft TSQL
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• A graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or MBA
• Hands-on experience in using Large Data environments (Hadoop/ Spark), API Gateways, and non-structured data
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
