Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Uniform Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Uniform Attendant, you'll be responsible for maintaining and issuing costumes to over 25,000 Cast Members across the Disneyland Resort. This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes and contribute to the overall Disney experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with Cast Members to answer questions and provide directions on the location and accurate wear of over 300 types of costumes issued at the Resort.
• Assist Cast Members in locating the correct costumes, advise on how to wear them accurately, and check out costumes to Cast Members.
• Assist with the cleaning of soiled costume pieces, including sorting, scrubbing, hand-washing, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and placing costumes on hangers.
• Operate heavy equipment and work with chemicals and hazardous materials (with training provided).
• Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for prolonged periods and lifting heavy objects as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to stand for two to three hours at a time and lift heavy objects.
• Be willing to work at various heights.
• Possess strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Bilingual skills.
• Previous experience in costuming issue/repair.
• Experience working with costumes in a theatre or show production.
• A valid California driver's license.

Schedule Availability

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24/7, 365 days a year. As a part-time Uniform Attendant, you'll be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Specifically, you'll need to be available to work full-time on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
