Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a welcoming and respectful environment for all users. This part-time, remote position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team. Your primary focus will be on moderating chat, enforcing community guidelines, and fostering a positive online experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and moderate the official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions align with our community guidelines.
• Delete messages that violate server rules, taking prompt action to maintain a respectful environment.
• Ban or mute users who repeatedly violate server rules, following a clear and consistent enforcement process.
• Investigate reports from users regarding potential rule violations, gathering evidence and making informed decisions.
• Collaborate with the community management team to develop and implement strategies for community engagement and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in community management and moderation.

Qualifications:

To be successful as a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, you will need:

• A minimum age of 18 years old.
• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
