Senior Accountant Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant with our firm, you will be responsible for providing full-service accounting solutions to a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Client Accounting Services: Provide accounting services to 4-5 clients, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the point of contact for clients and provide excellent customer service and support.
• Collaboration with Firm Leadership: Collaborate with firm leadership on client relationships and new client onboarding.
• Independent Work: Work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.

Senior Accountant Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

• Accounting Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or similar industry.
• GAAP Accounting: Demonstrated understanding of GAAP accounting principles and month-end close procedures.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
