Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community. This will involve moderating chat conversations, enforcing community rules, and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our community remains a positive and inclusive space for all members.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderating chat conversations on our official Discord server
- Deleting messages that violate community rules
- Banning users who repeatedly violate community rules
- Muting users who have violated community rules
- Investigating reports of rule violations
- Collaborating with our team to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive community environment
- Providing excellent customer service and support to community members
- Staying up-to-date with community rules and guidelines
- Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions
Essential Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with Discord and online community management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in community management or moderation
- Knowledge of community rules and guidelines
- Familiarity with conflict resolution and mediation techniques
- Experience working with diverse groups and individuals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
