What we are looking for in a Video Content Creator
- Visual Storyteller: You have a passion and skill for telling compelling stories through video, and you know how to adapt those stories to fit the platform, whether it’s YouTube, our website, or social media. You can plan, shoot, and edit both short- and long-form content that educates, builds trust, and drives action. You’re familiar with using Sony FX30 cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to capture high-quality footage. You are proficient in editing with Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar software) and can confidently and efficiently bring projects from concept to final cut.
- YouTube Strategist: You’re not just uploading videos—you’re driving growth. You’ve led or supported a YouTube channel and know what it takes to build a loyal, engaged audience. You’re skilled at crafting engaging thumbnails and titles, increasing watch time, and viewer interaction. You’ll play a key role in growing The Solar Energy Channel by elevating the creativity, production quality, and entertainment value of our content.
- Trust-Building Communicator: You create content that solves real customer problems and moves them forward in their buying journey. You understand how to build trust and eliminate friction through video. You're familiar with frameworks like Marcus Sheridan’s They Ask, You Answer (now Endless Customers) and Donald Miller’s StoryBrand.
- Versatile Team Player: While video is your core focus, you're joining a small, collaborative marketing team, so flexibility is key. You’ll have the chance to pitch in on a variety of initiatives with a unique opportunity to grow your skillset, gain hands-on experience, and make a meaningful impact in growing our brand into the most known and trusted brand in the solar industry.
