Job Title: Contact Center Sales Inbound/Outbound II

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated phone agents to handle outbound prospective customer leads through our dialer system. The primary role is to screen prospective customers interested in speaking to a licensed agent to either review an existing quote or provide a new quote. Agents will transfer interested customers via a warm transfer to our licensed agents. We will monitor the transfer rate and the bind rate on the transferred leads to ensure the quality of the screening and transferred leads.

Responsibilities

  • Handle outbound prospective customer leads through the dialer system.
  • Screen prospective customers interested in speaking to a licensed agent.
  • Transfer interested customers via warm transfer to licensed agents.
  • Monitor transfer rates and the bind rate on transferred leads to ensure quality.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales phone roles.
  • Satisfactory computer and typing skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center, inbound or outbound (outbound is a plus).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Must have a PC with Windows 11, hardwired internet with a minimum upload speed of 100MBPS, mouse, keyboard, and headset. A second screen is strongly encouraged.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Willingness to help peers.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, requiring an appropriate place to work free of distractions. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 1-9:30pm, with a standard work week. Attendance is crucial, with a maximum of 12 hours of absence allowed per month. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
