Role Description

TRapidTrials is hiring a Registered Dietitian specializing in Clinical Research. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for providing lifestyle counseling to participants in a Phase 3 Obesity Clinical Trial through telehealth visits, specifically for Registered Dietitians licensed in New Hampshire with prior clinical research experience.

Position Title: Registered Dietitian

Position Type: Contractor/freelance position

Position Reports to: Principal Investigator or designee

Work Hours: between 7 AM and 6 PM (Local Time). The specific visit schedule will be developed by the Site contact(s) and the Contractor based on the allowed participant visit window as per the protocol.

Setting: Remote, Telehealth

Duration: 3 Years

Sites: 1 Site (43 participants per site)

Benefits: None

Travel or Out-of-pocket Expenses: Not reimbursed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct scheduled telehealth visits with study participants over a 3-year period (20 visits per participant; first visit ~60 minutes, subsequent ~30 minutes)
  • Provide protocol-aligned nutritional counseling and education related to weight loss and obesity management
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of each visit; submit visit summaries to the clinical site
  • Participate in sponsor protocol training, site-specific onboarding, and attend weekly status update calls
  • Maintain licensure and certification as required per New Hampshire State Law
  • Ensure timely response to communications, maintain appointment punctuality, and escalate any protocol deviations to site personnel.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all patient and site interactions
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate telehealth visits based on participant availability.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior clinical research experience required
  • Licensed as an RD or RDN in New Hampshire
  • Access to a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Independent contractor experience, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and resourceful disposition
