Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from patients and healthcare professionals
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to provide personalized support
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Registering patients and verifying memberships
  • Adding customers to the appointment queue
  • Helping answer billing questions and resolving billing issues
  • Assisting with basic technical issues
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Prior customer care experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Medical background is a huge plus, but not required
  • Windows PC with the following specifications:

+ Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no WiFi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 + Processor: Intel Core or Intel Pentium 4 + At least 8GB of useable RAM + At least 200MB of free hard drive space + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a paperless work area and cell phone-free environment
