As a Chat Specialist, you'll play a critical role in representing our dealer clients favorably online and turning website traffic into revenue-generating leads.

Responsibilities

As a Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments.
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, and developing and maintaining a knowledge base of evolving products and services.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and resolving issues in a fair and efficient way.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, participating in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on products and services, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Chat Specialist, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it's a plus).
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong ability to multitask, with experience in gaming or other fast-paced environments a plus.
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a quick-paced work environment.

Requirements

To apply for this role, you'll need:

  • Your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse.
  • To live within the state of Texas.
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions (this is a remote position).
  • Ability to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT.
  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred.
