Customer Experience

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be responsible for engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. You'll resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience, and you'll model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items

Operations

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll also be responsible for providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. You'll register customer purchases on assigned cash registers, collect cash and distribute change as requested, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Registering customer purchases on assigned cash registers
  • Collecting cash and distributing change as requested
  • Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
  • Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
  • Taking inventory and maintaining records
  • Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
  • Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
  • Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
  • Completing resets and revisions as directed
  • Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
