We are seeking a leader who will oversee all operational processes pertaining to student admissions across all study levels. This includes managing the central admissions team, as well as developing robust admissions policies.

Located at our South Kensington Campus (with the option of hybrid working), you will get the opportunity to collaborate with leading academics who are world-class experts in their respective fields. Joining our team at this exciting time will involve engaging in new initiatives such as implementing a new university-wide admissions and CRM platform, as well as shaping the vision and ambition for the next two decades.

If you possess substantial experience in building admissions programs and are committed to providing exceptional customer service while promoting diversity and inclusion at every level, you may be the ideal candidate we are looking for.

  • Leading the development of admissions policies.
  • Offering authoritative advice to internal stakeholders and collaborating with them to implement admissions processes that prioritize students.
  • Leading continuous process improvement efforts that align with policy, procedure, and Imperial’s objectives related to diversification and applicant experience.
  • Ensuring the delivery of exceptional front-line services.
  • Developing high-quality management information and reports.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles.
  • Experience in managing record and information systems within a university or similar institution.
  • Thorough understanding of the university admissions process and policy/regulatory issues.

  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service with a continuous focus on improvement.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to empower others.
  • Ability to handle multiple database systems.
  • Capability to train and support other staff members, delivering feedback with tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrable evidence of strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
