Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate information about flight schedules, ticket prices, and other services
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive experience for every passenger
  • Processing ticket changes, cancellations, and refunds, as well as assisting customers with special requests such as wheelchair assistance and dietary requirements
  • Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of blithequark's policies and procedures, ensuring seamless support for our customers
  • Documenting customer interactions and updating records in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional support

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Comfort with using computers and customer service software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training to all new hires
