Job Summary

As a Chat Support Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for inquiries received through our chat platform. Your primary focus will be to assist users by providing information about our programs, events, and initiatives while ensuring a positive chat experience. You will be responsible for resolving customer concerns efficiently, documenting interactions thoroughly, and collaborating with team members to improve the chat support experience.

Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries received through the chat platform.

  • Provide timely and accurate information about organizational programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Assist users with navigating our website and accessing resources.
  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Document interactions thoroughly in our support system for reference and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the chat support experience.
  • Stay up to date with organizational offerings and changes to provide accurate information.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve the chat support experience.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Communications, Customer Service, or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience in customer support or chat support roles preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • Familiarity with customer service software and chat platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Passion for environmental issues and community engagement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
