Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator II to join our team, responsible for accurately and efficiently transcribing data into a format suitable for computer processing. This role requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Operator II, your key responsibilities will include:
- Logging into a computer and accessing work queues to review computer images of documents and code documents using an established list of codes.
- Verifying, if required, whether previously extracted information is correct and making corrections to previously extracted information as needed.
- Adjusting orientation or lighting of documents.
- Referencing work instructions as needed.
- Attending mandatory meetings and trainings, working scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and performing other duties as assigned per business needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Be able to maintain confidential information.
- Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
- Have basic computer knowledge.
- Be able to type 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
Work Schedule
As a remote Data Entry Operator II, you will have the flexibility to work from home and choose your own schedule within the hours of 4am-6:30pm. Overtime can be expected regularly throughout the week and on Saturdays when needed. You will also be required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, which will be scheduled in advance.
Onboarding and Training
Our onboarding and training process is designed to ensure your success in this role. You will begin with a remote orientation on December 2, 2024, from 9am-2pm. Following the orientation, you will attend onsite training for one week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-11:30am. After onsite training, you will continue your training from home, 7:30am-2:30pm, for an additional five weeks, dependent on clearance processing.
