Experienced Data Analyst – Transportation Analytics Team – Remote Opportunity at blithequark

Job Summary
As a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll play a critical role in helping us make data-driven decisions that drive business growth and optimize operations. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and insights, and develop actionable recommendations to inform business strategy.
Responsibilities
* Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and perform ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions
- Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
- Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
- Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks and identify outliers
- Document your approaches and share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Key Requirements
* 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with a strong ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity
- 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on creating impactful dashboards and visualizations
- Business Operations Fluency, with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience (ideally)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
