Position Overview: The Quality Systems Analyst ensures that QA efforts align with real-world workflows, business processes, and clinical operations. This mid-level role bridges the gap between product requirements and QA by validating that test coverage is accurate, complete, and relevant to actual system usage. The QSA collaborates with QA Analysts, QA Engineers, and Product teams to translate workflows into structured test cases, confirm domain alignment, and identify coverage gaps. By applying domain expertise, the QSA strengthens product quality and reduces the risk of missed scenarios. Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate test cases to ensure alignment with real ASC workflows and operational processes.
  • Translate business and clinical workflows into structured preconditions, test scenarios, and test data requirements.
  • Partner with QA Analysts to identify test coverage gaps and ensure critical workflows are tested.
  • Provide domain expertise during requirements reviews, sprint activities, and backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to identify high-value automation candidates based on workflow risk.
  • Contribute to QA documentation, standards, and best practices, emphasizing workflow and domain accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare operations, business systems analysis, or software quality assurance.
  • Must have 1+ years of experience with eChart.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC workflows, clinical operations, or healthcare business processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex workflows and translate them into actionable QA coverage.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Jira, Xray and QA test management practices.
  • Exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with QA automation tools such as SmartBear TestComplete, Selenium, or similar.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare regulatory standards, or EHR systems.
  • Prior experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or domain SME role.
