Informatica Data Engineer- Development & Data Modeling Specialist

- Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
- Estimated Salary Engineer II: $115,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus.
- Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
- Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
- Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion. - Design and implement ETL processes to efficiently extract data from various sources, transform it to meet specific business requirements, and load it into data warehouses or data marts, ensuring seamless data integration.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using ETL tools, ensuring the reliable and timely flow of data from source systems to data storage solutions.
- Ensure data quality through comprehensive validation, cleansing, and error handling mechanisms throughout the ETL process, maintaining high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
- Optimize ETL performance by addressing bottlenecks, improving query efficiency, and ensuring scalability as data volumes grow, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the data processing infrastructure.
- Provide production support for the ETL jobs that we own. WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Proficiency in IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) for cloud-based data integration and management tasks.
- Expertise in Informatica tools, relational databases i.e. Teradata, DB2, scripting languages (Unix/Windows), and knowledge of Snowflake.
- Enabling the development of custom data transformations, complex mappings, and efficient ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with bolthires Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics solutions. Knowledge of Python is needed.

- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

- Shell script skills to understand and modify, as needed.
- Testing / Automation Testing
