Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional internal and external customer service through various channels, including phone, email, chat, and other avenues. You will serve as the primary point of contact for external customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner. In addition to providing customer support, you will perform a variety of internal operational support functions related to addressing customer issues and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Core Responsibilities/ Primary Duties

* Provide exceptional internal and external customer service through various channels, including phone, email, chat, and other avenues

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to senior support staff or management as needed
  • Perform a variety of internal operational support functions related to addressing customer issues, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices in customer support to provide informed and effective solutions
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of customer support processes and procedures
  • Analyze customer feedback and provide insights to inform business decisions and improve customer experiences

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer support or a related field

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a non-profit or healthcare organization

  • Knowledge of blood cancers and their impact on patients and families
  • Experience with customer support software and tools, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
  • Certification in customer support or a related field
  • Fluency in multiple languages
