Job Description

As an After School Dance Instructor at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to inspire young dancers and make a lasting impact on their lives. Key Responsibilities

* Plan and implement engaging dance lessons for children aged 5-12, with a focus on beginner level

• Execute recreational dances and create a positive and inclusive class environment
• Teach dance techniques, choreography, and coordination skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression
• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during dance classes
• Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and physical growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program goals and objectives
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and successful program

Qualifications

* Must enjoy dancing and have a strong desire to inspire young dancers

• Knowledge of different dance styles (Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, etc.)
• Experience teaching dance to kids is a plus
• Ability to create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans
• Excellent communication skills
• Energetic, patient, and knowledgeable on how to share positive feedback
• Great ability to motivate and encourage young dancers

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Dance, Education, or a related field

• Experience working with children in a dance or educational setting
• Certification in dance or a related field (e.g. CPR, First Aid)
• Familiarity with arenaflex's programs and services
