Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate – Remote Data Entry Position at arenaflex

Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, including answering questions, resolving issues, and offering recommendations
- Registering customer transactions on assigned sales register, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed
- Processing voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as required
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including counters, shelves, and stock areas
- Performing tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions
- Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and following company policies and procedures regarding prescription errors and the Quality Improvement Program
- Handling calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors
- Processing manual claims for outside program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performing other administrative tasks as assigned
- Assisting with stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
- Maintaining knowledge of company resource security methods and recording claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medications
- Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
- Building and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays, and completing resets and corrections as assigned
- Assisting with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
- Having working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and selling special photo items
- Taking on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests, and conveys requests to customers as they arrive at the store)
- Assisting with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store environment and appearance
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues
- Completing special tasks and other assignments as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
- Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and support
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems and equipment
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of store stock control
Preferred Qualifications:
* 6 months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- Strong numerical skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Familiarity with store systems and equipment
- PTCB certification
