[Remote] Cybersecurity Analyst - SOC (Information Technology Analyst 2)

They are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor security tools, perform security reviews, research vulnerabilities, and implement security procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor information security tools for vulnerabilities and potential security incidents
- Perform security reviews related to user IDs, authorized access, and controls
- Research vulnerabilities and develop strategies for safeguarding information
- Implement information security procedures related to new applications and initiatives
- Install, configure, and maintain security hardware and/or software
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- One year of professional experience in IT-related roles such as system analysis, troubleshooting, or business analysis
- CompTIA Security Plus Certification is required
- Ability to substitute relevant IT experience for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis
- Proficiency in security technologies and information systems
- Experience with Endpoint, Network, and other Detection and Response tools
- Internships within relevant departments may substitute for professional experience
