[Remote] 2026 University Hire (U.S.) - Industrial/Systems Engineer

The role of Industrial/Systems Engineer involves assisting in various engineering tasks to develop knowledge and skills through practical assignments and collaboration with supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in developing functional/system analysis to define facility/system design requirements
- Assisting in establishing the means of verifying requirements implementation, including acceptance criteria
- Assisting in the preparation of system and facility design criteria documents
- Supporting system-level design verification, requirements verification, test requirements specification, and requirements flow down and traceability
- Assisting in the preparation of assessments to validate and verify implementation and traceability of requirements into design
- Participating in technical discussions to resolve system design issues
- Researching and documenting system operations and limits from the review of design and basis documents and from discussions with system designers
- Performing model-based systems engineering using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) automation tools (e.g., IBM® Rationale Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) or Innoslate by Spec Innovations)
Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months or upcoming twelve (12) months
- Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites
- Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Member of the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
- Prior co-op or internship experience
- Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
