Territory Acquisition Account Executive

Softchoice is a software-focused IT solutions and services provider that helps organizations innovate and succeed. The Territory Acquisition Account Executive will focus on acquiring new small to medium business customers, driving results through daily prospecting and establishing long-lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive results with an entrepreneurial spirit, uncovering new customer relationships through daily calling, outreach, and engagement to SMB prospects within your territory
  • Focus on acquiring new accounts and expanding our customer base within the assigned territory
  • Grow and diversify customers by supporting their needs and pursuing new lines of business
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by leveraging your strong communication skills and proactive approach
  • Apply analytical and strategic thinking, finding unique approaches to solve customer challenges and achieve your plan
  • Leverage and partner with a community of technical experts, vendors, and pre-sales resources
  • Utilize knowledge of Salesforce and ZoomInfo to enhance prospecting efforts (knowledge is preferred but not required)

Skills

  • 1+ years in a ‘hunter' sales role with track record of success
  • Strong prospecting skills and the ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Sales and business acumen with passion to learn and grow
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn about the ever-changing world of enterprise technology
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by financial incentives
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and ZoomInfo is a plus but not a requirement
