Accounting Specialist

Arch Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and independent Accounting Specialist to manage accounting and client service activities. The role involves tasks such as invoice creation, client payment processing, and vendor management, while also providing general office administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Invoice creation & distribution
• Client payment processing and collection efforts
• New client setup. Issue welcome package
• Maintain and update client records
• Daily AP invoice processing
• Weekly AP payment scheduling
• Monthly AP placeholder review
• Expense receipt processing & reconciliation
• Vendor management
• Shared duty of answering incoming phone calls
• Assist with general office administrative tasks

Skills

• 1-2 year's minimum of experience in a similar role
• Intermediate MS Office skills and computer experience
• Average WPM 60+
• Self-motivated, efficient, productive, works well with a team
• Possess organizational and time management skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to stay on task or quickly return to task if interrupted
• Ability to meet deadlines with the flexibility to work overtime
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds for paper storage
