[Remote] Property Adjuster - Inside Scottsdale, AZ

They are seeking a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster who will provide exceptional service by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. This role emphasizes effective communication with customers and requires a strong focus on water loss claims.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to our policyholders
• Virtually inspecting damages
• Investigating coverage
• Preparing estimates
• Settling claims promptly and accurately
• Interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms
• Using phone, emails and sometimes video chat with customers
• Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements
• Utilizing multiple tools to get the job done
• Executing policies along policy agreements
• Keeping a clear record of work in a claims system

Skills

• 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
• Previous industry experience is highly desired
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred
• Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
• Residency within the posted location is mandatory for this role
• As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred
