Job Summary

As a Remote Medicare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to individuals navigating the complexities of Medicare. You'll be responsible for helping customers understand their coverage options, selecting the right products and services, and identifying additional needs to upgrade their plans. Responsibilities

As a Remote Medicare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service with a mostly inbound call model, responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening
  • Assisting individuals in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products, services, and best solutions to meet their personal health and financial needs
  • Identifying additional needs customers may have and helping them to upgrade products or services
  • Making outbound calls to provide follow-up when needed
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Staying up-to-date on Medicare policies, procedures, and product offerings to provide expert guidance to customers

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Current Health insurance license in your state of residence
  • High-speed internet access (>15 mbps)
  • Minimum six (6) months sales experience
  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy (just as you would expect if it were your private information being shared)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer savvy with experience using CRM software and other customer service tools

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of Medicare policies, procedures, and product offerings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
