Job Summary

As a Bilingual Call Center Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional support and guidance to ensure their needs are met. You'll work from the comfort of your own home, using our state-of-the-art technology to connect with patients and resolve their inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Your bilingual skills in English and Spanish will enable you to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, making you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer phone calls, emails, and digital inquiries from patients in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensure accurate and thorough processing of all requests, including scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate staff
  • Maintain thorough records of discussions, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries
  • Resolve patient issues through independent problem-solving and a goal of first-call resolution
  • Foster teamwork and partnerships with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and improve customer experience
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to manage patient information and communicate with team members

Essential Qualifications

* Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak)

  • Reliable cell phone with a minimum internet speed of 10mb down and 1mb up (no satellite internet allowed)
  • Experience in a highly customer-service-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful even when dealing with upset customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a medical office setting utilizing a computer-based practice management software system

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to handle high call volume and multi-task while providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Experience with E-Clinical Works or other electronic medical records systems, such as Epic, Athena Health, or NextGen
  • Experience with Avaya telephony platform desired
  • Knowledge of and strict adherence to HIPAA
