Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team in Hawaii, USA. As a key member of our data engineering crew, you'll play a critical role in developing and deploying cutting-edge data solutions that meet the needs of our clients across 20+ countries. With a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance, you'll work closely with our team to design, build, and maintain complex data systems that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable data solutions using relational database management systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  • Develop and maintain powerful test cases that are integrated into CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement observability capabilities to enable root cause analysis of failures in time-sensitive processes
  • Work with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to design and deploy cloud-based data solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality, maintainable code
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement best practices for data engineering

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on relational database management systems
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++

Preferred Qualifications

* Exposure to public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Experience with data engineering tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink
  • Strong understanding of data security, data governance, and data compliance
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
