[Remote] Salesforce Administrator & Support Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Family Reach is a national nonprofit dedicated to removing financial barriers for cancer patients. The Salesforce Administrator & Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting Salesforce operations, managing user access, and ensuring data integrity while providing user support and training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security controls
  • Oversee org-wide settings, record types, page layouts, fields, queues, and sharing rules
  • Support declarative automation including Flows, Process Builder, tasks, email alerts, and related automation tools
  • Assist with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, folder structure, report types, and access management
  • Maintain system integrity through platform maintenance, continuous improvement, and Salesforce release readiness
  • Support Salesforce training initiatives and user enablement
  • Maintain Salesforce documentation and contribute to ongoing governance standards
  • Manage and support managed and unmanaged packages, routine updates, and feature rollouts
  • Support and execute data imports, exports, and data migrations using tools such as Data Loader and Excel
  • Lead and assist with data cleansing, standardization, deduplication, and hygiene initiatives
  • Help enforce data standards, storage protocols, retention policies, and compliance best practices
  • Serve as the first-response point of contact for Salesforce support needs and internal help requests
  • Organize ticket intake, triage, prioritization, and SLA tracking
  • Manage backlog of requests, story creation, and sprint alignment where applicable
  • Maintain and manage Jira (or similar ticketing systems) for request processing and department organization
  • Provide recommendations to improve support processes and help desk frameworks
  • Assist in planning and executing testing for enhancements, feature deployments, and release updates
  • Document system processes, enhancements, configurations, and project notes
  • Contribute to knowledgebase, user guides, and process documentation to support ongoing operational maturity

Skills

  • Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification required
  • Experience administering Salesforce (Sales Cloud, NPSP, or similar Salesforce platforms)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration, automation (Flows), reporting, and dashboards
  • Experience managing users, permissions, and data using common tools (e.g., Excel, Data Loader)
  • Comfort working with internal team to support business processes and system improvements
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn, grow, and explore new ways of working with Salesforce and related tools
  • Additional Salesforce certifications a plus
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk) and CRM data best practices is helpful
