Business Analyst

Advanced Electric Systems is a trusted leader in electrical contracting, seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. The role involves collaborating with various departments to analyze complex business operations and provide recommendations to align business functions with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business analysis activities to drive key business decisions and translate them into specific technical requirements
• Develop and standardize programs to automate processes within different business units, enhancing efficiency
• Present fully vetted initiatives with accurate due diligence and risk assessment
• Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain a financial reporting structure within the company using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate
• Create apps and reporting systems for forecasting future financial data and productivity
• Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
• Enhance existing reporting and analytics by gathering user feedback and incorporating it to redesign, improve, merge, or add new content into existing BI reports
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business results
• Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting its values and expertise in the electrical contracting sector

• Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering impactful presentations
• Ability to manipulate data, create tables and update reports
• 1-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Certificate in Data Analytics, Data Management, or equivalent certificate, preferred
